Get Involved

Volunteers and donations are essential to our operation. To get involved in the Hoboken Community Center, you can:

• Volunteer: If you would like to volunteer with us, you can sign-up here or download the Hoboken Charity Quest app in the App Store

• Provide a monetary donation: Make a monetary donation here or send a check made payable to the Hoboken Community Center at 1301 Washington Street Hoboken, NJ  07030

• Partner on a hygiene or food drive: If you or your organization would like to partner on a pantry drive, please contact pantry@hobokencc.org

• Purchase items from our Amazon Wish List for both of our pantry programs and have the items shipped directly to us

• Drop off goods: The Pantry has donation drop off hours every Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at 1301 Washington St (side entrance on 13th, purple doors).

• Additionally, the Pantry has donation boxes in these local businesses: Chocopain Hoboken Downtown First Street and Hoboken Uptown Tea Building, bwè kafe Hoboken North End and a baby donation drop box now located in the lobby of the Monroe Center Hoboken.

  • We accept unopened and unexpired non-perishable food, full size personal hygiene items, menstrual and incontinence products, baby hygiene products, formula & diapers (including partial & opened sleeves of diapers and pull-ups; please indicate diaper size), and new or like-new pet supplies (dry pet food can be donated opened as it will be repackaged - we cannot take prescription pet food or items).

  • We accept reusable bags. We are currently collecting FreshDirect bags, as well as reusable bags from WholeFoods Prime, Walmart, Acme, Shoprite/Inserra, Stop & Shop, Walmart, Target and similar. We also accept Amazon foldable delivery bins. We do not accept plastic or paper bags.

  • We cannot accept open or expired food, perishable food items, used bottles & nursing supplies, prescription pet food or grooming supplies, OTC or prescription medications, used clothing, shoes or linens, used toys, books, and games.

• Sponsor a monthly meal: contact info@hobokencc.org if you would like to sponsor an upcoming meal for our Affordable Housing Program residents.
